How to Ask Someone to the Formal Dance
It's not easy asking someone to a dance. You want to make sure that the moment is right, the setting is good, and that you don't mess it up.

- Pick a theme that the your crush is going to love. If they are a football fan, then a theme around it might be the winning one.
- Pick a good moment to ask. Right before a big test is probably not the best time. If it's a super romantic proposal then you may not want to ask your date in front of all of their buddies.
- Try to relax. You may be nervous asking, but just remember that the person you are asking is in the same boat as you, except that they are also super excited to be getting asked. Let's face it, even if people don't want to admit it, it's flattering to get asked to the dance.
